I am at a point in my life where I could either walk on or turn my back...that explains the weird smiles in this series of shots...I was lucky I had photographers today...sistersinlaw again :)

Today when I am embarking on a new chapter....so help me God...

Office OOTD- Vision Starting To Be Blurry

These days I can't go wearing denims and rubber shoes much more slippers to work. So am "zen-serious" most of the time. My outfit BFFs are long sleeved tops, scarf and accessories. I wear my black-rimmed eyeglasses (I only got one LOL) to keep my vision sharp and to have that honorable effect LOL.

My Little Male Version: Mom and Son OOTD

Parenting entails a lot of patience, love and caring. No sweat because those virtues come naturally when you are a mom. I must admit I am not a perfect mom. Sometimes I get frustrated when the boy-man refuses to heed my advise and fail to behave accordingly. Yet through it all my hopes are high that maturity will change his boyish ways eventually. Thing  is, he reminds me so much of how I used to be when I was his age. Photo above was taken before we went on a Sundate weeks ago. Hmmm don't be deceived by the boy-man's smile, I had to beg him to flash it and be still for this shot LOL. Motherhood? It's a lifetime devotion I would gladly trek over and over because every moment is a trip to heaven's door!

Friday- OOTD

I had two goals yesterday.

1. To survive an interview get out of the room alive, no passing out between questions.

2. To drive for two hours straight without panic attacks and any bit of scratch on the car.

I don't have a lot of decent clothes to choose from in my closet and I grabbed a long-sleeved striped polo to give me the look I needed. You know, the nerdy, reliable, respectable effect LOL.

Officially Four-Eyed, First Nerdy OOTD

After weeks of ignoring bouts of headache and squinting eye muscles I finally gave in. I had my eye checked. Yep I am a healer but when it comes to my own health I confess I usually deny symptoms until doing so takes its toll. Not a good example, definitely so I resolve to listen to my body more intently from now on. 

So instead of torturing my eyes just to do away with looking like a geek I am now officially four-eyed. Things look clearer and my eyes are now relaxed and I haven't had a migraine attack for days. 

Having eye problems? Go ahead and schedule an appoinment with an eye specialist. It will make a lot of difference.

The No Make Up Challenge

I know am kinda late in posting my "no make up" shot for FB. I think Samsung Galaxy Note II edited this shot for me though by automatically erasing my blemishes LOL. Anyway I can say that real beauty is not what one sees outside but how a person relates to everyone she mingles with. These days I can not claim to be angelic as somehow my tail and horns are itching to appear. Nobody is perfect and sigh, sometimes it is too difficult to say NO and to be good when some people are mean. Anyway each day I wake up with a prayer to have a pure heart and a humble soul.

A Year Short of Forty: Birth-OOTD

So here I am, 39 and excited to turn forty next year! They say it's when LIFE begins so am bracing myself for that joyful ride. I guess you must have realized why this blog is called THE LETTERS IN NOVEMBER by now. Yep, yours truly was born on an ALL SAINT'S DAY, the 1st of November. Thank you for staying with me through the years, never tiring to read my thoughts. For all the wonderful birthday greetings I thank thee from the bottom of my heart. Oh well, there is something about "polka dots" that seems to have charmed me. See? even the new background of this site has been victimized by my obsession. It is the middle of the year and gee much has happened in my life- decision making wise. Was I wise? Hmmm we'll see in a few weeks. All of us go through such rough times right?

The past three weeks have been very challenging for me. I'm still indecisive as of this writing about a major career move. Do I stay or do I leave? Unfortunately some things did not turn out the way I wish they would. Yet I am hoping against all hope I can still find a way to my one great dream.

OOTD Series #7: The Messy Hair and My Scattered Thoughts

It is the 13th day of the month and I am having my monthly you know...

and I am at the most crucial part of my Masters degree education...

so my mind is nowhere to be found LOL and I do not have the energy to comb my hair

...I rushed to the hospital for a conference sort of with my colleagues and 

..grabbed a blouse that needed no ironing whatsoever

when I came home I rushed to our backyard to clear my mind and watch the world go by...and yep....I found the scattered pieces of my mind watching the blue sky..

..LIfe maybe challenging at times yet I still could feel that I am blessed, too blessed to be stressed

OOTD Series #6: Feeling Young In Pink

 They say that to stay young we must keep a happy disposition in life. "Pink"- a happy color splashes my day with glee! Inspired by a friend I call wonderwoman-Betchai of The Joys of Simple Life the other week I took out a blouse by PINK SODA from my closet, a buttoned one which unfortunately no longer fits me. So instead of discarding it I used it as a blazer for a black unlabeled flower printed spaghetti strapped topper. I used my dangling earrings bought from a trade fair with pink tinges and beaded necklace and bangles to match 'em. Sorry got no whole body picture again because the hubby won't cooperate LOL. The above photos were selfie shots using my ever reliable Samsung GT -N700 while waiting for him inside the car. The last photo is a shameful duck face attempt LOL. Have a great day one and all! OOTD Series #3: Inlove With Blue

Due to the lack of idea what to write today he he he- I am sharing with you another OOTD post.

This was on one of our beach escapades at the surfing capital of the North.

I've been sporting long hair for more than a year now. I never thought I could tolerate allowing it to flow freely and not tying it.





I have no plan just yet to have it cut short because I am so loving being able to flaunt it sideways. It makes me feel so feminine! Yep, I have a not too feminine side and my long hair seems to make me act- walk and talk with finesse.

As some of you already know, my favorite color is blue! Deep blue like that of the ocean. It embodies tranquility and maturity.

...and one of my favorite places is the beach! I love digging my feet deep in sand and chasing the waves with my eyes. Sunset watching makes me feel so ALIVE! The huge ball of light diving into the sea is my greatest inspiration in penning my masterpiece short stories- if you can call them that hehehe....

My idea of a great time is being able to breathe with ease while bonding with family and friends where the rays of the sun are free to embrace me!

I have always loved and will always cherish my skin color. I protect my skin though from the harsh elements by using sunscreen- whenever I am not too lazy to apply 'em hehehe.

I consider everyone as a friend, call me a foe, I'd still love you.

My life as that of anyone's is defined by a past with many struggles, a present with countless blessings and a future which I will welcome with a grateful heart. Whatever fate throws at me I have a bank of happy memories and happy thoughts inside my heart!- An old friend once told me "he may not be the most promising medical doctor in class but he can be the best friend I'll ever have." True enough we may not be the greatest in our fields but when we work with our hearts and stay angelic no matter what that MAKES A LOT OF DIFFERENCE IN  THE PRECIOUS LIVES WE TOUCH.
