Healthy Eating Is The Key To Losing Weight
There are many people that are fighting hard to lose weight. Especially mothers that naturally gain weight as the result of pregnancy. It can be hard as you will the scales to show you smaller numbers, and you stare in the mirror hoping your belly fat goes away.
A lot of people start exercising like crazy to try and lose weight - which is good! You need to exercise, as it helps you burn calories. However, the problem arises when you start eating more calories than you burn. This will just cause you to put on weight, or maintain it.
What you really need to do is start eating healthily and having a healthy diet. This will help you reduce your calorie intake, and burn more than you take in. As a result, you’ll soon lose weight.

I Thirst for Dessert!
A post shared by thelettersinnovember (@zenskulasa) on
Eeeehhhhh!!!!!! Last Saturday the fambam went for a movie date and a lunch out. The photo above was the three of us in dessert form LOL. Can you guess which dessert I was?
Hmmmmm I was the halo-halo (shaved ice with mixed fruits), the hubby was the buko-pandan and the boy was the mais con yelo!
You can say I am quite drifting away from too much dieting these days eh? I want to make my cheeks a bit chubbier because my friends are complaining my face already looks so thin haha!

No Time To Cook? No Problem!
When you have a to-do list that is as long as your arm and you feel like you are going to crumble from all the pressure, even the smallest of household duties can sometimes tip you over the edge. Moms these days are expected to be able to do it all - hold down a full-time job, keep the house immaculate and ferry their kids from one after-school club to the other every single day! If that didn't sound exhausting, add on the fact that more often than not, moms also have to make sure their children are eating healthily too. It can be all too tempting just to cave and order takeout when the last thing you feel like doing is spending hours slaving away in the kitchen. Sometimes, this isn't even a bad thing - the occasional takeout never harmed anyone! But make a habit of it and you could not only jeopardize your own health, but you could instill unhealthy habits into your kids. Convenience food and fast food is even said to have addictive qualities, so the more you can stay away from it, the better for your whole family. But what do you do when you honestly don't think you have time to cook? The first thing to remember is that you don't need to be cooking a spectacular three-course meal every night for you, your partner and your children. Something simple will suffice, and simple doesn't mean you need to compromise on taste. Plus, there are plenty of ways you can save time in the kitchen - a tasty, healthy meal can even be out in 30 minutes or less providing you know what you are doing! Here are some time-saving tricks you just HAVE to use in your kitchen today.

Healthy- Is The Way To Go!
A photo posted by thelettersinnovember (@zenskulasa) on
I am a tomato lover! I am soon to call myself tomato woman LOL. There are so many health benefits one could gain from munching those orange pulpy goodies! They are rich in Vitamin C, fiber and Cancer-fighting powers. They also make one's skin glow! I also love onions! The violet ones are my favorite! I love the spicy, breezy feel on my mouth when they crunch as I bite. Oh carrots! carrots are a joy to eat too! They are slightly sweet and just the thought of swallowing them with that ultra rich orange color imbibes positive vibes. Hmmm I am not much of a jalapeno fan but I do love them once in a while when they are not too evil LOL.
Yep, I cooked yesterday. I mixed those in a pan lined with good cholesterol (lie LOL) and added beef. Yum!

I love Pancake
From time to time, I eat pancakes. I think that's what does the trick- I don't eat it for breakfast always so I don't get tired of it LOL. This was taken at a fastfood chain (guilty for not in a healthy resto that time) three weeks ago when the hubby and I bought some goodies from the city market. He did the purchasing, I did the watching LOL. Anyways, I am heart broken now. It may now show in my selfies but I am. It's just that I know how to count my blessings so I don't mess up work LOL.

Gotta Love An Orange
I just realized how truly beautiful tangerine is! I used to wear orange lipstick in college. I vaguely remember drinking orange flavored soda and sticking out my lips over the bottle's rim just so its color will stick into my lips as a child LOL.

Date With Myself
Baked Spaghetti and Carrot Cake- were what accompanied me on my impromptu date today. I guess it was inspired by my BFF's "ME" dates. I can not begin to enumerate how crazily busy I am these days- medical missions, meetings, workshops, aaahhhh sigh.
