How to Get Over Failure

So How does one recover from failure?

Surely there is no easy way but trying has been proven to work!

  1. 1. Don’t refer to it as FAILURE for it is just a set-back.

It has been said that God's delays are not God's denials. So sit back and relax, breathe in breathe out until you are able to spring back!

How To Lift Your Mood In 6 Steps

Well, I can't claim to be an always "happy" person. Am not moody though as far as I know. But there are times too, several occasions actually when the usual optimistic ME feels a bit BLUE. It's easy to say JUST SMILE, in REALITY it is difficult to just snap from being sad to glad. We are no robots. Yet here is a LIST of my SPIRIT lifting TRICKS I hope could help you make that SMILE reach your eyes :)

Dawn,- April 10, 2022

This morning there was no pressure to wake up early but I got out of bed to make breakfast with the hubby.

And I was delightful I did for the sky was beautifully lit!

The banana leaves are by our front yard. I love how they seem like hands raised in worship.

Trees, its leaves and branches never fail to amaze me. They are signs of LIFE and manifestations of LOVE and HOPE.

I watched as always in awe at God's magnificent creation.

It's Palm Sunday and the SKY meaningfully painted my GRATITUDE for ....FAMILY, FRIENDS, WORK, GOOD HEALTH, CHALLENGES and every simple thing in LIFE.

May everyone in all the world find PEACE and spread LOVE. A blessed week one and all.

Rainbow a Sign of HOPE

On my way home today the sky in the photo above greeted me. As always I stared at the clouds and noticed the enchanting way the cloud was formed. It was drizzling and something on my left shoulder glimmered. Yes! A rainbow!

Reaching home I took a closer photo of the magic! Wow, a rainbow never fails to mesmerize me. It symbolizes hope and new beginnings. We may be feeling down in life but everything will one day be alright. We just have to look at the bright side and keep the faith.

As of Late

So, lately I have been hmm as always a busy-bee. I have been juggling law school and work. Family of course is a constant. And yes Love of Family is of prime importance. Last weekend the hubby and I were able to take a breather in our recent favorite spot in the world. The road in the IG post leads to the place.

Anyway, I've been having more time to think lately. Now that seems a contradiction to being busy bee aha! I meant studying and contemplating on work I've come to one realization that is the beauty of a light soul.

Since I had my laptap reset and I had to log-in to google anew, I toyed with the applications and stumbled upon one podcast which shared one important thing to do upon waking up in the morning. The podcast shared the practice of "gratefulness". I totally agree that our minds can be programmed to think "happy" "productive" and yes "grateful" thoughts. These days when the pandemic has not officially ended it is easy to stick to languishment. Then again it does not lead to anything positive to dwell on dooms-day thoughts eh.

Hmmm looks like my breaking up (once more) with sweets I must admit I ate all the cake given to my on my birthday is doing me great! So today while reading for my final examinations I realized that instead of cursing people who sort of are not my favorites for one reason or another,  I will from now on PRAY for everyone; wish everyone will be good as good people can be and to simply SMILE and refer every bad thing to God.
Gee, that is all for now! Have a Merry Christmas Everyone! :)

She's Back!

 Dear Friends,

She is back! Where'd she come from? Well, long story but to cut it short she has finally found herself. Yep, she lost it- herself like four years ago. Today as the thunders kept rolling and the skies broke into happy tears kissing green leaves leaving brown dry ones to yesterday she met her old self. She felt glee! And she smiled, laughed even. She's learned that life will always be tough and negativity will always be lurking yet in the end, we are our own bestfriends. So she is making a promise to be good to Zen, to forgive her as often as she could just as she would others. For what is there not to be happy about? Life is short! These days it has even become shorter! So onwards to writing about the mystery that LOVE is; beauty that CARING is and HUMILITY that makes sense of everything....

Yes, I Do Have A Blog And You Are Welcome To Browse

A photo posted by thelettersinnovember (@zenskulasa) on

I haven't really been sharing this site for sometime. I didn't have the inspiration to write from the heart. Work is hectic and I am studying blah blah blah. The excuses are innumerable. Truth is, the itch has somehow gone. The itch to click and to write. Writers block, yah that's what it's called haha. Anyway, yes I do have a blog. No one asked actually, just saying LOL.

Getting Back To Normal After Life Changing Events

girl-1152389_640.jpg

It’s fair to say that over the course of our lives we can be going down a path that isn’t too pleasant. Sometimes it’s out of choice, other times the choice is taken away. It could be anything like an injury resulting from an event out of your control, illness or disability. Life can never be rosey 100% of the time, but it’s how we choose to accept those life changing moments that defines us as individuals. It’s hard to get out of those situations where you feel the world is against you, but sometimes you have to take the positive steps back to normality. So I thought I would share with you some of the things you should consider when taking those positive steps. I hope it offers you a bit of hope that things can get back to a new normal for you.

Heading back to work

It can be hard to get back to the workplace after a deliberating illness or an injury. Even after an event that has caused you some disability. You can feel incapable and unable to do the job you once did. While it’s sometimes necessary to be realistic about your job, more often than not there are ways to work around those issues. Heading back to work can be one of the biggest steps you make to your normal life. So make sure you communicate with your employer and workout the best solutions for everyone going forward. Working and getting something like routine and discipline back into your life can have a huge impact on you.
