Orly and our Belgian Malinois

Hubby and our Belgian Malinois fur baby both watching the sky change colors dawn of yesterday. 

The family calls him Preston. I learned that Belgian Malinois dog breed can be very protective of their human family when treated well. Without proper handling though their behavior may change. It takes tender loving, training and care to raise them. Their size may give the impression of unfriendliness but on the contrary they are sweet, easy to train and kid friendly. 

And boy Preston loves daily walks! He even offers his leash and slides his head into it and walks towards the gate without need of signaling. 

So yesterday Orly and Preston had the privilege to watch the sky change colors both at dawn and dusk. 

Preston clings to Orly head up while Orly lovingly caresses his head while watching the sunrise. 

In the afternoon they had another walk and Orly had food treats for Preston which he slowly ate along the way. 

They were right on schedule at their favorite resting spot to watch this time, the sky at dusk. 

I could feel as the photographer that a bond has deeply formed between them. As my cousin Vet-Rax told me, a dog should feel loved and when they do, they will love you back in return all the days of their lives.
