As of Late

So, lately I have been hmm as always a busy-bee. I have been juggling law school and work. Family of course is a constant. And yes Love of Family is of prime importance. Last weekend the hubby and I were able to take a breather in our recent favorite spot in the world. The road in the IG post leads to the place.

Anyway, I've been having more time to think lately. Now that seems a contradiction to being busy bee aha! I meant studying and contemplating on work I've come to one realization that is the beauty of a light soul.

Since I had my laptap reset and I had to log-in to google anew, I toyed with the applications and stumbled upon one podcast which shared one important thing to do upon waking up in the morning. The podcast shared the practice of "gratefulness". I totally agree that our minds can be programmed to think "happy" "productive" and yes "grateful" thoughts. These days when the pandemic has not officially ended it is easy to stick to languishment. Then again it does not lead to anything positive to dwell on dooms-day thoughts eh.

Hmmm looks like my breaking up (once more) with sweets I must admit I ate all the cake given to my on my birthday is doing me great! So today while reading for my final examinations I realized that instead of cursing people who sort of are not my favorites for one reason or another,  I will from now on PRAY for everyone; wish everyone will be good as good people can be and to simply SMILE and refer every bad thing to God.
Gee, that is all for now! Have a Merry Christmas Everyone! :)

Okay so you can count me in now as one of the laziest on planet Earth 😚
See my feline friend above? That is my mood now. I just wanna watch plants, look at the sky and go back to sleep.

So, I just recovered my site. Using my Google Profile on blogger has rendered my account inaccessible until I figured out through blogger forum what to do. All thanks to one user who had the same issue I managed to log in after several frustrated attempts.

Okay, so how have I been? I've been busy with work, school and of course I have been prioritizing my family all these years. So, writing quite took a backseat. The farthest seat to say the least 😙.

I ate "Longganisa" while he ate "Beef Tapa". Of course he drank coffee while I enjoyed my pineapple juice.

We had our fill of shopping! Mostly veggies, promise because we made a bet as to who will lose more weight come December!

Tonight we had dinner at his brother's house.

Blessed Sunday

img-alternative-text

Sundays, I love Sundays. The hubby and I have been good the past weeks. He has managed to make me get out of bed at 4 in the morning to prepare for early Sunday mass. And as always he takes the lead in buying our week's supply of veggies, meat, fish and poultry. I'll share our fresh purchases in another post. Believe me I am enjoying the simple quiet life. The best!

Forever In Love With Blue

A photo posted by thelettersinnovember (@zenskulasa) on

The photo above was taken around two months ago. It reminds me I have so many travel tales I have not yet talked about. No time- blah blah. I always remind myself to capture moments I'd like to relive and post them on social media so I could delete them from my phone saving memory, the literal one. It seems life has become truly more complicated these days. The word memory is no longer just for the brain. It also refers to those saved in gadgets. Arrgghhhh amazingly, surprisingly rather I seem to have been healed of my "itch to click". I no longer chase butterflies and bugs with my digi-cam or DSLR. I have completely lost time! Work has eaten most of my productive days. I am happy though because I am in a job that saves lives, literally and figuratively. Oh well, and yes I am still in law school. In fact tomorrow I have a class so it is no Thank God It Is Friday for me. Rejoicing for the weekend will be at twelve noon tomorrow after my class. Having said that I will park this note and say though I have ceased chasing blues and sunsets, everything is hidden in a very special place here inside my heart.

✿Inspirational Letters: 3 Unforgettable Songs From My Childhood

1. Of course it has got to be the ALPHABET SONG.
I remember singing it while taking a bath, walking, sitting, standing and hearing my old folks clap non stop when I didn't miss a letter! Oh boy what a superstar I was! Makes me wish I could head to a guitar center for that string instrument dad used to dream I could perfectly play.

✿⊱24/7 Thoughts: How To Make Study Time Enjoyable ✿⊱

Oh well, this is from the point of view of someone a year short of being forty. A time when one's memory is a bit deteriorating yet continuing education is still on top of one's list of priorities in this complicated thing called LIFE.

So how do I keep myself entertained while memorizing and trying my best to understand alien concepts?
