I can still remember the first time I got an "oh am gee," comment on a post. It was on a post I wrote on my now extinct friendster blog. My online published thoughts there vanished years ago but the friendship I gained there has survived the test of time and circumstances. Writing has always been fun and fulfilling for me. It is one of the ways by which I get away from all the stress of the physical world through communing with people from all over the world with the same love for sharing thoughts and images. Blogging is never fun without blogging pals! I am blessed to have all of you who keep inspiring me to be a better person. To my blogging guru, Betchai of The Joys of Simple Life, thank you so much for once upon a time leaving that "oh am gee" comment on my post- A DREAM which I have re-posted at our home, The Salitype Society where we endeavor to keep kids' dreams of a brighter future come alive. To my TSS family, my endless thanks for inspiring me into blogging for a cause.
I may not be rich materially but I feel so lucky to have been blessed with the gift of words that I can use to indirectly help others. Technology brings people together and when not abused it brings Joys that are immeasurable like the gift of twinzy TRUE FRIENDSHIP... and FBF camaraderie.
Thank you for leaving a comment and liking the post without me begging you to do so, simply because you share the same passion....and know that I may not always have the time to visit your pages but you are in my thoughts and prayers...

Funny, I said the same thing to a friend in New York just last night about being grateful for getting the support from my Pinoy friends without me having to beg for it. Great minds think alike!

I also have met some friends online and now we are friends in real! Something that I am so grateful. We are lucky because we can expand our horizon and find new friends for life
ReplyDeletehonestly, i'm having the grandest time talking to "online friends" than talking to the so-called real friends when only what they talked about are gossips. with online friends, i get to learn new things everyday. well, it's not all about learning, the simple chikahan on facebook is something to look forward to everyday because it's another opportunity to know more of your "online friends".
ReplyDeleteFeeling grateful having them too. Aside from the chika, I am also thankful for opening my eyes to greater opportunity.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to be in a community. Being part of different blogging communities have opened more doors of opportunities for me.
ReplyDeleteYAY! What a beautiful tribute for your friends that are indeed real treasures, Dokie! I have become a witness how you have supported each other across your blogs and I know it doesn't only revolve around the realms of blogging but offline as well.
ReplyDeleteWe all have our fair share of joys in finding real geniune friendships online and we can only hope it will keep thriving all the test of time.
Cheers to your lifetime friendship with Doc Che and Te Betchai! :-)
