 Lazada launches mobile shopping app for iPhone and iPad

Healthy Lifestyle: Early Morning Walk Surprise with a Dragonfly

I was on my way home early in the morning when I spotted this dragonfly struggling to hold on to a leaf as the sun was about to make its grand entrance into the world. 

I stopped and was amazed at the perseverance of the critter and was quite envious for it had a lazy moment to spend at the start of day to watch a new day unfold so I stopped and tried my best to capture its image and after several futile attempts to get a clear shot with my phone I gave up...

I walked on and left it to enjoy the moment and took the time to watch the sky change colors too!

Home Sweet Home: My Not So Secret Other Life

I'll let you in on a secret! I have another addiction! Add it to taking selfie shots, writing and sleeping.

I love washing clothes! I love it more than cooking, cleaning and shopping. It feels like therapy to me. I am talking about doing the laundry without the aid of machines.  I love the smell of soap and the mere sight of bubbles makes me gleeful. The slippery feel and the "swish-swash" sound the water makes as I squeeze clothing reminds me of a happy childhood running under the sun and laughing out loud like there is no tomorrow.

 This is how I look when I am in the mood for dolling up a bit.

and this is me when I am simply home and ready for my "laundry" hobby...all painted with sunscreen and wearing comfy shirt, hair tied and happy to be simply home!

By the time I have hanged the clothes I sit on a chair watching the world go by...and it is a beautiful life- having the time for what matters most and cherishing each passing moment with loved ones.

and yes, my favorite job in life is the one I am not paid for- raising the kiddos and being the

SIMPLE, unglamorous, mom-me!

One thing I love most about living at the neck of the woods is the chance to greet the day with wild flowers and farm animals. After walking the kids to the main road yesterday I had my dose of nature therapy which I am gladly sharing with you.

Smartphones, Laptaps, Applications and THAT THING CALLED LIFE

I wasn't really a gadget type of girl until I discovered the joy of sharing my thoughts. I could still remember how elated I was years ago when my mom bought me a portable typewriter. For someone with a messy handwriting like me, a gadget that could put my words neatly on a sheet of paper back then was heaven sent!


I recall being a fan of Doogie Howser M.D. who at the end of every episode of the tv series would encode his thoughts on a PC. I used to tell myself if only I had a computer too I'd probably spend so much time just writing my thoughts! I kept so many diaries through the years.
