Like many of you I LOVE WEEKENDS! While I love travelling and seeing new places I also love simply staying at home, fixing our rooms, lying on foam memory and vacuuming afterwards and my favorite chore of all is manually washing clothes and having them dry under the bright sky.
We live at the neck of the woods where the air is fresh and dawn is announced by the chirping of birds and crowing of roosters. Ours is a tiny house upon a hill where I spend most of my time daydreaming of heaven and its doors. I am honestly one of those people who are happiest in simplicity.
It is rainy season on my side of the world now and believe me, that porch isn't as clean as it looks in reality.
At night I could watch the stars and talk to the moon and each morning the sun would greet me...
What do I think of each waking morning?
I am thankful for LIFE, for the gift of FAMILY and FRIENDS....
and the chance to be of service to mankind and the rest of creation....
you have such a beautiful place ate! truly it is beyond amazing. :) Oh the things i do here in the city just to see the mountains and feel the first morning sun kissing my cheeks -climb our rooftop!
ReplyDeleteWe have the same thought every morning. The first thing I think of whenever I wake up is gratitude for having great friends and a wonderful family <3
ReplyDeleteI prefer staying at home most of the times. I always thank God each morning for givin g me another day to enjoy His creation. You have a very lovely house Doc Zen.
ReplyDeleteumagang kay ganda dahil nasilayan kita, likas na gandang Pilipina at likas na magandang tanawin sa iyong napakagandang pamamahay.

I think I would really like to live in a place such as yours. You look so happy and contented and that is what living is all about. Your first image though made me smile because it reminded me of an ad for laundry soap and the simple joys of life.
ReplyDeleteHindi ka nag-iisa Sis. I too prefer simplicity and your place is a picture of my 'dream place'except wala atang brook or stream dyan. Sis, God is good to those who loves Nature.
ReplyDeleteThe place you live in is awesome!!! If I have this surrounding, I would feel like a retiree.
ReplyDeleteAwww... such a home sweet home indeed. Now that's a the ideal staycation, I will choose any day, if only I live so close to nature. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely home, Dokie! I always have huge admiration for career women like you who also are perfect homemakers. Long live!
ReplyDeleteP.S Parang soap ad sa TV ang peg nong first photo Doc. Haha!
You have a beautiful place Sis :-) I also love to dry my clothes outside when the weather permits. It saves electric at the same time helps the environment as well. I love your place, it looks peaceful too :-)
ReplyDeletewhat can i say? pf course, the first pic my fave, despite I do not share your joy of doing laundry, hahah! right now, I have so much laundry to do after our 10 days trip, some muddy, some dirty from all the hikes, I look at them, I get a headache, seriously! Haha! and here you are, inspiring me to go "do the laundry Betchai!" super super love your home Zen, what more could we ask for?
ReplyDeleteSimplicity is grand. I would also love to live in the place like yours. When I started here at FBF yun talaga una napansin ko. Yung mga background mo sa pictures and mismong yung place, ang ganda naman pala talaga Dokie! :)
