A Personal View On Today's Teen-Age Trends

It scares me! The way media now portrays romance and relationships as something that teeners could jump into like cake and pudding.

I must admit when I was younger I kinda wished our society could be more open to sexual issues so I didn't have to dig secretly for those info when curiosity hit me. Now though that technology has made it so simple to watch live demo on how a human being is created  my maternal cells are screaming in horror at how it could probably affect my children and their future children. It's way more than just wearing personalized boxer briefs posing in the runway now that kids could witness in print and video! I am glad though that so far I could still communicate with my teen-age boys about anything under the sun. For the manly stuff they would naturally be inquisitive about very soon am leaving it all up to the hubby. One thing I keep telling them is to always respect girls and their fellow being. I'm willing to let go when the right time comes for afterall we were made to pro-create and fill this Earth with human beings. Responsibility couples that pleasurable task though and it is a must to inculcate that in the young generation. So before I could go on forever ranting about my fears for my boy's future I end this post with a passage from my favorite book in the Bible.

Ecclesiastes 3- A Time For Everything
"Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses...the time for mourning and the time for dancing, the time for making love and the time for not making love, the time for kissing and the time for not kissing,"

Have a blessed day one and all.
