Traveling to the Northern part of the country by land? You might want to check out one of the newest restaurants in my hometown. Believing in fairies and Neverland somewhere in the crevices of this sometimes childlike brain of mine I got so curious about the place and grabbed the chance to be treated by the hubby at Tinker's Garden Restaurant to a sumptuous lunch.
with nature and friends from the colorful world of fairies....
I loved the privacy that the individual "bahay-kubos" provided as well as the fresh air and the cool breeze because of nearby leaves of all shapes and sizes. The huts have nets around them to keep insects away and had
colorful neatly adorned ceilings!
and a cute electric fan on a corner of the hut keeping the area breezy-
perfect atmosphere for browsing their colorful menu
They serve a wide choice of salads, main dishes, desserts, cocktails and drinks.
I left the ordering to the hubby while I as always roamed around the place with the hubby's ultimate rival, "Kulas," my camera :)
The place is replete of eye candies every girl would love from the ceiling down to the floor :)
a huge mirror braced by sturdy carved wood |
colorful, creative lanterns |
Tinkerbel framed photos everywhere |
pots of artificial cheerfully hued flowers lining the ground... |
the neat, magical looking resto main hall |
garden sets reminiscent of years gone by |
magical wash area |
beautiful butterfly crafts a friend of mine is sure to adore |
Waiting time is just right what with food served by friendly, lovely crew in the most presentable way...
the hubby's sizzling seafood served with rice
and my beef with Broccoli...in all honesty this was the most scrumptious beef I have ever tasted!
the meat was juicy and soft enough to be chewed with bits of flavor savored in between bites!
Aaaahhhh we will visit the place again very soon that's for sure...
oh, I was thrilled to learn they do have a facebook page- Tinker's garden restaurant where I read that the proprietor like me somehow believes in fairies and magic and perceives that everyone longs for a place
where they could escape the busy world and just relax thus Tinker's Garden Restaurant at Baroro, Bacnotan, La Union, Philippines offering an enchanting magical nook was born...
