In HIS Time

it's almost sixty days now since dad has gotten ill and here i am re-learning lessons in this large thing called life...

the most beautiful sight there is each day is the rising of the sun...i never really got to appreciate it until those days i had waking up at the hospital looking at the sky, hearing my dad's breathing beside me realizing how great indeed our God is for giving us the gift of life....

when sleep becomes a luxury tell yourself "it is so great to be alive and to be awake looking at the people we love"...

the sky is the biggest place on earth....it could contain all the prayers in the world and there is a God who resides somewhere in the clouds watching over us all the time...

the family is the best place there is on earth

"Life is all about travelling to somewhere else away from our loved ones someday..what matters is the journey!"

in my heart i know that the Lord will take care of my dad someday and lay him on green pasteurs....

"the most precious of gems in the world are not made of stone...but of flesh...sell the diamond and buy food for the hungry..seek not to be famous but to be meek like a lamb..."

so when the time finally comes for your FINISH LINE, you can smile and say "Lord, i know i did fine..."

I graciously wait and work for my own time.

IN HIS TIME.

  5. Oh Zen, I know what you mean about mornings... I have never fully appreciated it until I was rendered incapacitated (while recuperating from surgery). Those days, I would wake up to an unhurried day with nothing to do but sit and wait for the sun to rise, to stand still and watch the day pass me by... It is very good for the soul. It is a good way to cleanse the tired lenses of our vision -we see things clearly when we stand still. The hazy view blurred by the hectic pace of life, becomes clearer.

You have a lovely family, Zen. One of the greatest blessings you have. You are fortunate to enjoy your dad far longer than some of us did ( I lost mine to cancer when I was 18).

Yes, you're right, in God's time, your dad will walk in greener pastures, we all will...

We continue to pray for you and your loved ones.

Warm hugs to comfort you my dear Kulasa! It is good to hear from you again.

  8. I know what you mean... been there when I was taking care of my grandpa whom I loved so dearly. The lessons of life and loving are heaps of precious gems that are sometimes taken for granted when presented in simplicity... only when you see with your heart that you are awed by its grandeur.

  15. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the
shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but
