Ever desired an exclusive, cozy and gorgeously decorated hideaway where you can curl up with a good book, enjoy sketching in solitude or a private room in which to invite friends over for a cup of coffee and a good natter? Forget the man cave it’s now all about the She-Shed, quiet, comfortable spaces where women can go to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, host a gathering without any children interrupting or their husbands coming in with questions.

What Are They?

She-Sheds are ideal environments for women who need some extra space for their sewing, art or dance projects. They can also  provide a relaxed, laid back atmosphere for painters, writers, and even cake bakers if you install the right equipment first. Ladies who have become fed up with their partner’s or husband’s insistence on having his own space or simply crave somewhere to reflect on the day’s events are turning, in their droves, to She-Sheds. Either constructing their own DIY shed from scratch or purchasing a large, multipurpose shed from companies and swearing by my outdoor storage shed from superior sheds due to their expansive designs, elegantly stained wood and durable finish.

She-Sheds come in all shapes and sizes; some even have little porches, verandas, and stairs attached while others have been converted into craft rooms, mini conservatories, and 50’s style American diners! Ladies who own a She-Shed have shown other women how they can transform their standard potting and garden sheds into beautiful, feminine secure spaces. There are even walkthroughs and tutorials available online on how to create your own in ten easy steps!

How To Enjoy A Family Stargazing Night

Stargazing might be the last thing that you think about doing on a winter’s evening. However, trust me when I say that it is one of the most amazing, fun-filled family nights that you’ll ever have. I’m a huge fan of stargazing and of the stars, in general. The way they look, our star signs and the constellations. My daughter and I often spend hours outside in our garden in the summer, just gazing upwards and chatting about our day.

There is no good reason why this can’t be done in the winter as well. If you are stuck for something to do one evening then get the family together and give stargazing a try. You might be surprised at just how much everyone enjoys the experience.

Why stargazing? Stargazing is one of the most spectacular sights in the world. Who wouldn’t want to open their eyes and just take in the beautiful sights that surround them every single night? The night sky is filled with beautiful sights that can keep your family entertained for hours. Once you start stargazing, you’ll wish you did it sooner!

Sunsets And Moonlights 1

She was staring at his photos again. Looking at those familiar eyes. His grin never changed. It almost always somehow never reached his eyes. Yet he has those eyelashes that were long enough to touch the sky and make one think of clouds passing over the hills on a summer day. One look into his eyes and she knew she’d froze. She breathed a sigh thinking how fate could be too tricky at times. She scanned his photos wanting to keep her emotions at bay whilst wishing circumstances would bring them back together. It was weird that the longer she stared at him, the more she saw herself. He was wearing a shirt that made him look younger for his age. She smiled seeing the boyish gorgeousness she gave up years ago…Has he moved on? Has he finally found the one? She wondered and felt happy that technology brought him back, at least his memories were back. Someone entered the room and she closed her browser. Time to go back to reality, she smiled back at the man signalling her to follow outside for dinner. It was a blissful life she had but something in her wanted to go back to the past, to ask for forgiveness and stare into those lonely-happy eyes again.....

He was walking along the shore, looking at the sun making its way into the ocean and below. Did it sink into the bottom of the sea? Does the sun go to sleep at night? He asked the child in him as he dug his feet. He allowed his tired legs to finally rest and embrace water and sand. From a distance he could hear kids screaming with delight as the waves came to and fro. He was thinking of her again. Why does he remember her each time he watches the end of the day? How many times has he asked himself that question he could not remember. He just knew that a part of him ached to see her again. As the night made its way into the world, once again his heart and all of his soul hid in the memory of the first girl who made his entire being believe in eternity....

"So who is your new crush? Tell me please!!! Please! Please tell me!!" the girl was tugging at the boy's shirt. "I will tell you, when the right time comes," the boy replied laughing and trying to keep the girl's hands off his shirt. "Please!!! you are my bestfriend right? therefore I have all the right to know!" "Tomorrow, I will tell you okay?" The boy smiled at her and made his way out of the school gate. His heart was beating so fast he could almost hear it coming out of his chest. Was it true what old people say, that one's heart could speak the name of one's beloved? He feared she could have heard his heart. She must not know yet. He wasn't ready to tell her, He still had crumbs of rejection in his young soul and feared another one. He spent the longest night of his childhood contemplating a future with the girl of his dreams.

"Good morning bestie!!!! so are you ready to tell me?" The girl was wearing ribbons on her hair and her eyes glowed against the sun's rays. There really is no stopping her he thought. "Who???!!!" She was jumping around him and was beginning to get the attention of onlookers so he had to say "okay, okay" and handed her a small, a very tiny piece of paper. She took it happily and opened it. Three letters were written on it in a jumbled pattern. She could not believe her eyes. She stared at him with the smile erased from her face. His heart was beating so fast again he had to momentarily close his eyes. He dared not speak for awhile as the girl fumbled with the paper. "O-Y-U....YOU"- "me????!!!" "how could it be me? is it really me?" The girl asked him smiling hugely. "So, you aren't mad?" "You are not angry? seriously not angry?" "Why would I be angry at you?" "So....does that mean, I am your crush too?" "hahahaha, I will think about it okay?" The girl left him laughing and skipping her way to their classroom.

...the memory of that one day makes her smile to this day. It still makes her think of teddy bears and pretty flowers and rainbows. As she clicked on the x button she promised herself, she will grab the chance to ask for forgiveness from him when God and Time allow...

As he made is way back home, he knew it in his heart that he could forgive her. That he has the capacity to forgive her seventy times seven the moment she asked for it. She only had to ask for it. But when will time and circumstance allow their paths to cross again? He wondered, and kept his heart closed for anyone who ever wanted to enter it ...because for as long as that girl is alive, he knew, his heart will stubbornly not beat for anyone else....
