Sweet Dreams World!

At the end of the day I go home to see two wonderful man-kids waiting for me and all my gloomy thoughts fly away. Raising teeners is no joke LOL but am getting the hang of it.

When they start arguing over petty matters I don't intervene with an ear drum breaking scream but ask them in the most angelic tone of voice what the matter is and instantly they calm down and realize they are fighting over nothing. I then get them to express their brotherly love for each other.

Everyday I imagine what they'd be like as adults and constantly pray for them to be God-fearing gentlemen. As I type I hear them giggling and nothing else in the world matters.

Good night world! May every family be blessed with peace and love until the end of time.

  1. Zen, you seem like a pretty laid back mom and are a great parent to emulate. J#

  2. Haha, i use the angelic tone of voice too with my kids ( students), whenever they seem to be loud instead of yelling I also ask very gently if is there a problem and if I could help, right away i hear them saying sorry and start talking softly again over their conflicts on what they are working
