Becoming "Dad-dy..O": A Tribute to the Man Who Made Me a MOM

I can't remember the exact date I fell for you but I guess it was when you said "I want you to be the mother of my children".

Ours is a one-of-a-kind story that I cherish for life. You and me seemed very odd then. Then came "them". They're the combination of US- your childish ways plus mine. Your temper plus my craziness minus your patience with household chores and my love for sleeping multiplied by two! Aaaahhh you spelled it right- a beautiful disaster!

In the beginning the king-sized bed could occupy the four of us. The piglet would be below the chick and we'd pretend to be asleep when they'd barge into the room. Giggles would fill the house when you'd start tickling us and we'd protest with all our might. Our once solitary dates became a huge family affair. Dogs came in and out of our lives, oh yes even cats!

We called you daddy then added "ushky" so you are now our beloved "dadushy".

I love most the fact that we still both act like KIDS at heart and that the kids ADORE you from head to foot though they don't never say it out loud (I could read it in their eyes).
