Just because it’s the summer holiday doesn’t mean that your
children's learning has to stop. Take advantage of the many
educational opportunities that are waiting to be enjoyed in London.
Not only is it the nation’s capital, but its fascinating history,
spectacular places of interest, amazing cultural venues and wealth
of museums, galleries and attractions means there is always plenty
to do for everybody. Although there are many other exciting
destinations for a day in the City, Ripley's London is the perfect family entertainment place because of the unique attractions
that it boasts of.
Enjoy an Amazing Day at Ripley’s London
Located in the heart of Piccadilly, Ripley’s has an incredible
collection of fascinating objects collected from all corners of the
globe. From a gruesome assortment of Amazonian shrunken heads
through to a Marvellous Mirror Maze and a clutch of dinosaur eggs,
at Ripley’s you can find the most unlikely exhibits which will
fascinate the entire family. Spread over six levels, Ripley’s has
full disabled access and is buggy friendly, which is always helpful
when you have younger children in the party. Most visitors find it
takes about two hours to tour the entire attraction, leaving time
for a visit elsewhere if in London for the whole day.
The Thames Offers Unique Attractions
Although London offers a wide range of child-friendly educational
experiences, including perennial favourites such as the Natural
History Museum and St John Soane’s Museum, the River Thames has had
such a profound influence on the development of London that
attractions relating to its history are especially valuable. Places
such as the National Maritime Museum, the Docklands Museum and the Cutty Sark give
a superb insight into the history of the Thames. Why not take a
short cruise down this famous river and see the well-known landmarks
which are visible along its banks?
Many families find that they return to London repeatedly as there is
such a variety of things to see and do. The amazing range of
experiences open to children when they visit ensures that they learn
plenty whilst having fun at the same time. If you want your
children’s education to continue even when school’s out, then a
visit to the capital is a superb way to achieve this.
I so agree, learning does not stop during summer vacation, learning becomes more fun with exploring and traveling :)
