Valentine's Day Thoughts: How To Win Back A Beloved

Okay, I am a romantic, not hopeless though LOL. Sigh, I hate it when I see people who used to be happy together break apart.

What happened to FOREVER?

It's almost HEARTS' DAY and it would be so wonderful to see people getting back together! We cry over spilled milk, why not over LOVE? I do and here's my unsolicited advice for those estranged from their once upon a time sweethearts....

1. LISTEN, AND LISTEN WELL
Communication is the key to understanding your partner. For once just try to listen without holding on to your own feelings.

You may later on realize you have hurt the person MORE than he or she has ripped your heart apart.

2. SPEAK THE TRUTH
Why tell the person you HATE him or her when in FACT, your heart is overflowing with LOVE?
One ironic thing in relationships is that the more we HURT the ones we love, the more we feel pain. Why? There is no me and you to talk about because when he or she is INSIDE YOUR HEART nothing else matters. So why wait for the brink of death to come knocking before admitting to thy beloved that he or she KEEPS YOUR HEART BEATING?

3. SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE
It's worth the try! When you've given your all, admitted your faults and even haulted building your personal dreams for the ONE, yet he or she refused to surrender and holds on to PRIDE, then perhaps that is your cue to MOVE ON. But don't cease on the first attempt. He or she might just be hesitant to GIVE IN having more doubts and fears than you.

4. LEARN TO TRUST AGAIN
While this is perhaps the most difficult thing to LEARN on Earth, its returns surpass  the farthest corners of the universe. How do you do it? Time will tell. Every truly loving heart knows so just let it flow naturally.

5. FORGIVE AND FORGET
"Love is patient and kind....it does not keep a record of wrongs..." so goes a passage from my favorite book.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! :)

HAPPY HEARTS' MONTH EVERYONE!!!!!
