Reflection Sunday: The 14th Day of September

I just woke up from a nap and it seems I can not figure out what to do. Shall I do the laundry, work in the kitchen or study? Yesterday was a blissful one in our home sweet home. Someone turned forty! He was all ecstatic and celebrated to his heart's desire. His life is about to begin- that he kept saying. The hubby rejoiced and thanked the Lord for every blessing bestowed upon him.

We looked back at our years of struggle, cherished the present and envisioned a bright future for our children. We want them to grow morally, physically and spiritually strong. As I type the storm seem to have arrived in our locality and I think about the many people around the world presently suffering from catastrophe and epidemic. I wonder why evil looms in some peoples' hearts. Greed, selfishness-how could anyone allow one's soul to work for material things and forget that we all perish and die in the end. We all have borrowed lives.

Jn 3:13-17
THE SON OF MAN

(Jesus to Nicodemus,) " No one has gone up to heaven except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man. And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life."

For God so loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.

Have a blessed week everyone!☺
