Saturday Inspiration: How To Make The Best Decision

In life, we have to make so many decisions from the time we reach the age of maturity. I used to wish to be grown up in a flash when I was a kid. I hated being told I was too young to do this and that. But now that I am in mid-life I have to admit LIFE isn't as easy as 1, 2 3 and I am constantly faced with challenges. These challenges allow us to either move forward, stay or move back.

The process of decision making is tough! It is truly complicated when you are no longer single and your kids are on top of your list when making considerations. Recently I have made a huge career CHOICE and here's how I came about what I consider MY BEST DECISION....

1. Pray for Guidance

No matter what we do, I believe there is Someone Above watching over us, guiding us and listening to the desires of our heart. Sometimes we are not given exactly what we want because He has a better plan. So don't fight it when the heavens seem to be drawing you away from what you desire. There might me something else better for you somewhere.

2. Listen to the Experts

By experts I mean people who have been there- done that. Experience is the best teacher after all and the wisdom generously shared by our elders is not to be dismissed because they CARE for us and naturally WANT THE BEST FOR US. 

3. A Friend Is Worth Consulting

I always turn to true friends when it comes to major issues in my life. You all know who you are and I thank thee for patiently listening to my woes and ideas no matter how crazy they are at times- literally CRAZY. This is where the benefit of SOCIAL MEDIA comes into play. Sharing our thoughts online and having a multitude of caring people giving their encouragement and advices makes a lot of difference.

4. Family First All The Time

WE LIVE FOR our FAMILIES and no amount of professional GLORY could compare to the HAPPINESS of being with them and knowing they LOVE US for all that we are.

5. Keep Your Head Held High

I've read once that you know you have made the right decision when your HEART IS AT PEACE. This is just the commencement of a new chapter though and remember to keep your head held high; believe in the power of your dreams and WORK HARD.

THE BEST DECISION IS THE ONE THAT MAKES NOT ONLY YOU JUMP FOR JOY BUT EVERYONE YOU LOVE INCLUDING THE SUN AND STARS BECAUSE A GOOD LIFE IS ONE NOT ONLY LIVED FOR ONESELF BUT THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE
