Christmas, Almost

I remember how we gathered  family christmas ornaments here at our humble home upon a hill the first week of December last year. The kids had fun arranging the tree.

This year I am planning to have a manger set up outside the house. Something to remind the kids what Christmas is truly about. It is about that baby boy who was born on a manger, devoid of earthly richness. He was surrounded by nature and animals serenaded him as stars welcomed his arrival. Christmas is a joyous season all because we recall that fateful day someone was born to redeem our sins. It's all about "giving" and "forgiving" and "loving" endlessly.

I love going to mass at dawn, seeing people in prayer and families walking hand in hand with smiles on their faces and love to share.

I love bringing home simple food after attending mass and eating with family and friends, ever thankful for all the graces received.

I love looking at hand-made little stars lighting homes and hearing carolers at night. There is something about Christmas songs that gives this heart a touch of hope and a touch of joy that one day, everyone in all the world will find peace. It's been quite stressful to learn of so many wasted lives the past weeks; so many innocent lives taken away all because some people yearn for power. I pray each day, I pray and long for Christmas in everyone's heart all year round.

So many people out there are suffering and needing our time and help. We may not be there physically yet we can do something to help make the world A BETTER PLACE....

- choosing each time TO FORGIVE instead of JUDGE; to love instead of HATE; to GIVE instead of TURN our backs.

We have a long way to go to follow the path someone Above set for us...yet IT IS CHRISTMAS..almost...

WE CAN DO IT...WE CAN EARN OURSELVES....
TICKETS TO HEAVEN....
GRAB MY HAND AND I'll GRAB YOURS.
LET'S BE AGENTS OF PEACE...
