ReplyDeleteOh Zen... this photo brought back happy memories to me too. I used to live with my grammy too and those were the same typical Pinoy windows that we had in our old house. Like you, I also wondered about the Man in the Moon... but the fondest memories I had with that window was looking down on a "man" doing the "harana"... wink***

you made me miss my grandparent's bahay kubo. loved going there as a child and wander around their farm with lots of home grown veggies, fruits and crops. too bad it has been concretized (is there such a word? hehehe!) over the years.
