Healthy Living: Outfit of The Day Series #1

Okay, here it is, the first in a series of OOTD posts. Finally joining the bandwagon hehehe. You must probably know by now that my dressing up has been inspired by my Salitype Society Sisters :) We write for a cause and now we are also braving the challenge of posing for the sake of fashion blogging LOL.

I am a low maintenance woman. I shampoo my hair, put on conditioner, towel dry it then comb it. On days when I do not have to go to work I do not even comb hahahaha. SSSsssshhh did I just tell that to the world?

I have only one lipstick which I have been using for months now and it is almost used up! Remind me to purchase one please. It is only the second brand and color of lipstick that seems to go well with my skin color. What brand is it? I do not even remember unless I dig for it inside my bag now. I also use just one brand of face powder. It is one of the mildest in the market I think. I do not put on eyeliner, eye shadow or mascara on ordinary days. An extra-ordinary day would be one where I have to march or go up on stage. On those certain seldom occasions I manage to use a cream as a base for my powder and apply my lipstick thicker and use a lip-shiner. That's all. I personally groom my eyebrows by plucking the wayward strands. Once in two months I allow someone to shape them up. My facial skin needs a lot of pampering because I usually expose it to the harsh elements in nature. Sometimes I really do not care how I look especially when I am chasing a butterfly or enjoying the view of the sun going down.

My hair is due for another re-bonding. I am still saving up for it. For the first time in many years I was able to grow my hair really long and I am honestly loving it. I used to envy women with long, shiny black hair. Now that I have long hair though I still can not spend enough time grooming it LOL.

Yet I have a penchant for "bling-blings", sunglasses and fancy earrings. The cheaper, I am able to purchase them, the happier I am. I am glad technology makes it easy to take away the blemishes on our skin. Believe me, photos can be deceiving nowadays.

Today, I wore one of my favorite black earrings paired with a black and white necklace and bracelet to go with my black and white printed blouse. I wore gray two inches elevated sandals and gray purse-string-like bag...and my honest to goodness easy to extract SMILE...THE BEST MAKE UP EVER!

`Keep sharing your smile!'
