Family Matters Most:Meet My Mom

December 30...

My bro and I dressed up like kids greeting our mom the happiest birthday :)

Today is a very special day! It's my mom's birthday and I am left thinking of those wondrous days my mom used to play with me as a child. She would cook me the best recipes I could imagine and dress me up like a princess. She would tell me fairy tales and folk tales at night until I am lulled to sleep. When I get sick she would be so worried and would do her best to erase all my aches in a flash. "What should I do my dear?" she would ask me in the sweetest voice in the world and that would be enough for me to feel better.

She will always be that one person who could cheer me up without saying a word. In her arms I find peace  and the best place there could ever be is beside her. Anything I can give her, jewelries, mother necklaces and chocolates and fancy cards will never be enough to show her how much I treasure her. To all the kids and kids at heart in the world, each day is supposed to be our Mother's Day because a Mother's Heart Never Stops Loving Us.

I'd love you all to meet my mom, named after the loveliest of flowers...Rose...and she is exactly that to me and my bro, the sweetest, most loving and caring person. Though she is now based in the US, we communicate every waking morning through phone and internet. Thanks to technology she may be far but always near in thoughts and prayer. Everything I am, I owe to her, she helped me fulfill my dreams through her endless sacrifices and understanding. To me there is no other person who could be so loving and caring, and I am proud to be her daughter. I love you so much mama!!!
Happy Happy Birthday!
